4. How long does it take?
Every project varies, but we can typically have a website up and running in less than 2 weeks. I also offer packages that include content so you don’t have to do any writing yourself. This can save a lot of time.
5. Can I make updates and changes myself?
Yes, all websites are built on the WordPress platform, which is very user friendly. You will be given a username and password so you can log in and easily make changes yourself.
6. I noticed some of your sites have a person that comes out and talks, can I get one?
Yes, we us a company called Website Talking Heads that is very affordable (about $300). You pick the model and supply a script and then we integrate it into the site for you.
7. Is the domain name web address included?
No, you will need to provide the domain name. You always want the domain name to registered in your name. I recommend registering with Godaddy.com. It is only about $14 per year. They will try to upsell you a bunch extras, but they are unnecessary, just stick with the basic domain.
8. Do you provide personal branded emails such as john@mywebsite.com?
Yes, if you use our hosting service you will be able to create up to 5 personal emails.
9. How much does it cost?
I know cost is one of the big factors that keep business owners from moving forward. I try to keep it affordable by offering several different packages. The investment can be made in two payments, half down and half in 30 days.
10. Are there any other costs besides design?
Whether you go with us or with someone else you will also need hosting. Hosting is basically just space on an Internet server where all of your data is stored so people can access it. It includes all of your pictures, text, videos, etc. We supply hosting at $14/month for basic hosting or $27/month for hosting plus ongoing design.
11. Can I use my own hosting company?
Yes, but we will not be able to provide technical support for your website. Also, you will need to make sure your hosting company can install the latest version of WordPress. If you want us to install WordPress on your host then there will be an additional $100 set up charge. Be aware that not all hosting companies are equal. Things to consider are: customer support, security against hackers, automatic offsite backups, traffic reports and usability.
12. How do I track traffic to my new site?
When you use our hosting service you will be provided with full traffic stats or we can install Google Analytics.
13. Do you use templates or do custom design?
All sites are custom to your business.
14. Can you setup online scheduling for my customers?
